As a result of our commitment to safety excellence and adherence to strict operational guidelines, Hendrick has been honored with numerous awards. Hendrick is the three-time recipient of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) National Safety Excellence Award, recognizing our continued commitment to jobsite safety and exemplary safety performance and programs. Our company has also been honored multiple times with ABC’s Platinum Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) Award.
Additionally, the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has approved Hendrick’s Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP) promoting effective worksite-based safety and health.

The development of the project documents, work parameters, detailed expectations, site logistic plan, schedules, budgets and trade scope definition are critical to the successful completion of the project. Hendrick’s thorough approach to the preconstruction phase ensures a smooth construction phase.
All quantity surveys, subcontractor budgets, final bids and leveling sheets are provided to the client/owner in every phase of the project, from early budgets through the integration of any changes during the construction process. Starting with a baseline budget, every line item is documented in a variance report for the client throughout the project.
Hendrick uses state-of-the-art software to quantify estimates with accuracy and proficiency. This efficiency leads to overall cost savings for the client.
Hendrick also works with the project architects and engineers to produce 3D renderings, giving the client views of the exterior and interior from virtually every angle. This preview reduces changes during the construction phase and thus, considerably lowers unexpected costs.
Hendrick conducts preconstruction meetings with all subcontractors prior to the start of work to confirm correct drawings and discuss schedule and issues that affect quality.
An ongoing deficiency log enables swift follow up and closure of unacceptable items or work. The on-site Hendrick project team meets weekly with sub-contractors and has the authority to intercede directly and stop unsatisfactory work or prevent further processing, delivery or installation of non-conforming material. Client representatives are kept apprised of the quality progress and welcome to join on-site meetings as they desire.
Hendrick uses Procore software to track quality issues on the job site and in the field. This platform provides real-time updates and seamless file synching via Wi-Fi and cellular networks. Procore replaces paper blueprints, brings the benefits of version control to field workers, and is a collaborative platform for sharing important information.
Hendrick’s quality control program is based on prevention rather than correction. Every possible step is taken to avert errors, omissions, discrepancies and deficiencies. All drawings, specifications, and bid documents are carefully reviewed. An ongoing monitoring of trades and materials assures the highest quality of craftsmanship performance.
